இம்கோதெப் (Imhotep)[1][2]கிமு 27வது நூற்றாண்டில், பண்டைய எகிப்தின் துவக்க கால அரசமரபின் மூன்றாம் வம்சத்தை நிறுவிய பார்வோன் ஜோசெரின் தலைமை அமைச்சர் ஆவார். மேலும் ஹெல்லியோபோலிஸ் நகர சூரியக் கடவுளான இராவின் தலைமைப் பூசாரியான இவர் ஜோசெர் பிரமிடின் தலைமை கட்டிடக் கலைஞர் ஆவார்.[3][4] தாலமி வம்ச காலத்தில் இம்கோதெப் மருத்துவக் கடவுளாகவும் கொண்டாடப்பட்டார்.
