வடக்கு மென் வால் மர மூஞ்சூறு (Northern smooth-tailed treeshrew-தெண்ட்ரோகேல் முரினா) என்பது கம்போடியா, தாய்லாந்து மற்றும் வியட்நாமில் காணப்படும் துபாயிடே குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்த மரமூஞ்சூறு சிற்றினமாகும்.[2] இவை முதுகெலும்பற்ற விலங்குகளை முதன்மையான உணவாக உட்கொள்கின்றன. ஆனால் அரிதாகவே பழங்கள் மற்றும் தாவரங்கள் உணவுகளை உண்ணும்.[4]
