பேரரசர் சிவாஜியின் காலத்திலிருந்து மராத்தியப் பேரரசரசில் பேஷ்வா எனும் பிரதம அமைச்சர்களாக தேசஸ்த் பிராமணர்கள் பதவி வகித்தனர்.
